Party season, party frocks...

Hey guys!! Sorry it's been a while, obviously Christmas is just a crazy, manic time of year for everyone, however... this means I've got a huge back log of outfits and new purchases to share with you :-) my shoe cupboard is just bulging at the seams!!!

This is what I wore to Jack's work Christmas party, I will start by saying sorry for the lack of photo's (we just didn't have any taken) and the quality of the photos I do have... there was only one light in the hotel room... in the bathroom? The bedroom had but a few lamps (slightly strange).

This slip dress is possibly my favourite party dress for this season, it's silky, yet slightly structured which is automatically really flattering and looks very glamorous... I got it from Topshop earlier this month, it does come up quite big but it is meant to be loose fitting.
The dress itself is quite plain but less is definitely more here. I teamed it with a big statement necklace from Primark to add a bit of sparkle and a pair of chunky black strappy heels (also from Primark). I did felt so posh in this dress... I think it's the silk?

My hair here was done using heated rollers (retro) I love them! It gives your hair so much more volume than if you just use normal curlers. Just stick them in, do your make up, finish getting ready, read a magazine, take them out just before you leave et voila... perfect big curls!
